The eligibility criteria for the CSIR NET Earth Science Exam 2024 require candidates to possess a Master’s degree in Earth Sciences or related disciplines from a recognized university. Here is an overview of CSIR NET Earth Science Exam 2024 eligibility criteria:

  • Candidates must have an M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Earth Sciences/Geology/Geophysics/Atmospheric Sciences/Ocean Sciences or a related subject with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
  • Alternatively, candidates with a B.Tech in Engineering must have a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
  • Candidates enrolled for M.Sc. or those who have completed 10+2+3 years of the qualifying examination as of the closing date of online application submission can apply under the “Result Awaited” category.
  • B.Sc. (Hons.) or equivalent degree holders, or students enrolled in Integrated M.Sc.-Ph.D. programs with the required percentage of marks, are also eligible to apply.
  • Bachelor’s degree holders will only be eligible for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and not for Lectureship (LS)/Assistant Professor.
  • Final year/result awaited candidates in B.E./B.S./B.Tech are eligible to apply for fellowship opportunities but not for Lectureship/Assistant Professor.
  • Final year/result awaited candidates in B.Sc. (Hons.) are not eligible to apply.

CSIR NET Earth Science Answer Key 2024

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will upload the Provisional Answer key for the examination on their official website. To challenge the provisional answer key, candidates have to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 200 per question answer.   • Calculate NTA Scores corresponding to raw marks for all shifts/sessions in case of subject tests conducted in multi-shifts.
  • Merge calculated NTA Scores from all shifts/sessions for further processing in allocation decisions.
  • If percentiles from multi-shifts are dissimilar/unequal, set the lowest percentile as the eligibility cutoff for all candidates (across all shifts).
