Selection Process via UPSC Exam

The path to becoming an IFS officer is through the Civil Services Examination (CSE) conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The selection process involves three rigorous stages:

1. Preliminary Examination:

   • Purpose: Screening test to shortlist candidates for the Main Examination.
2. Main Examination:
