TS EDCET Exam Pattern 2024

The TS EDCET 2024 exam is conducted online and comprises 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions to be answered within 2 hours. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. The exam is divided into five sections:

  • Subject Concerned: Covers topics from Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies up to the 10th curriculum of the Telangana Board, focusing on problem-solving and reasoning skills. Each subject carries 20 marks.
  • Teaching Aptitude: Assesses understanding of teaching principles, methodologies, room management, and child psychology.
  • General English: Tests proficiency in English grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and basic writing skills.
  • General Knowledge & Educational Issues: Covers Indian and International Current Affairs, NEP 2020, Indian History, Geography, Economics, Scientific Research, and issues related to School Education and Inclusive Education.
  • Computer Awareness: Evaluates basic understanding of computers, their applications in education, and essential computer terminology.

TS EDCET Marking Scheme 2024

The TS EDCET question paper consists of five sections. Candidates must answer 150 questions worth 150 marks. The detailed marks distribution for each section is as follows:
