Goa PSC Assistant Professor Jobs 2024 – Educational Qualifications
Interested applicants should have a similar post in a State or Central Forensic Science Laboratory.
Eligible candidates for the position of Assistant Technical Examiner include officers from Central/State Governments and Union Territories who hold the rank of Assistant Engineer or equivalent, or Junior Engineer with a minimum of 3 years service, a degree in Civil Engineering, and experience in a research organization. The delegation period, including any previous service in another cadre position within the same department/organization, should not exceed three years.
Eligible candidates for the position of Senior Surgeon include Central/State Government Administration officers with relevant experience and educational qualifications. This involves a recognized medical qualification under the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956, as well as a postgraduate degree or diploma in the relevant specialty. Furthermore, candidates must have worked in a responsible position relevant to the specialization for a minimum of 3 years after receiving a post-graduate degree or 5 years after finishing a post-graduate diploma.
To become a lecturer, candidates must have a qualification mentioned in Part I or Part II of the Dentists Act, 1948, and a post-graduate qualification in dentistry, such as a Master of Dental Surgery in the relevant specialty from a recognized institution or equivalent. Furthermore, candidates must be registered with the Dental Council and speak Konkani.
To be considered for the position of Assistant Professor, candidates must hold a Master’s Degree with at least 55% or equivalent grade from an Indian or foreign university. Additionally, passing the National Eligibility Test (NET) or State Level Eligibility Test (SET) is required for appointment as an Assistant Professor, with the exception of those who hold or have earned a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission’s 2009 regulations, who are exempt from the NET/SET requirement. Knowledge of Konkani is also required.
For the position of Senior Orthopaedic Surgeon, applicants must have a recognized medical qualification mentioned in the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (First and Second Schedules or Part II of the Third Schedule, excluding licentiate credentials). Those possessing the educational qualifications listed in Part II of the Third Schedule must additionally complete the requirements outlined in Subsection (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Furthermore, candidates must have a post-graduate degree in the relevant area and three years of experience in a responsible job connected to their specialization after earning the post-graduate degree. Knowledge of Konkani is also necessary.
To be a probation officer, candidates must have a Master’s degree in Social Service, Social Welfare, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or Home Science, with a focus on Nutrition or Child Development from a recognized university or equivalent. Additionally, understanding of Konkani is required.
