BPSC Preliminary Examination
- The preliminary exam is a single-paper exam consisting of multiple-choice questions on General Knowledge in various fields like history, geography, economy, and polity.
- The exam is for 150 marks and the duration of the exam is 2 hours.
BPSC Mains Examination
- The Mains exam consists of four papers. Paper 2, Paper 3, and Paper 4 contain questions on general studies and the optional subject selected. Paper 1 is based on Hindi.
- Paper 1 is for 100 marks while the remaining papers are for 300 marks each.
- All the papers are subjective in nature and the duration of the exam is 3 hours for each paper.
