The Assam Public Service Commission has released an official notification concerning the Preliminary Examination of the Combined Competitive Examination, 2023. This examination aims to screen candidates for the Main Examination for recruitment to various services/posts. Required Educational Qualification

The candidate must hold a Degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess such qualification as may be declared equivalent by the Government. Note: Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification on the date of submission of their applications.

Age Limit of APSC CCE

Age Limit: The candidate must be between 21 and 38 years as of 1st January 2023. Age Relaxation: The upper age relaxation will vary according to different categories, as detailed below.

Note: The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation/ HSLC Admit Card/ Certificate issued by a recognized Board/ Council, and no other document shall be accepted in lieu thereof for the purpose.

Other Details of the APSC CCE Exam

Nationality: Only an Indian citizen can submit the online application for this recruitment of APSC. Residentship: A candidate must be an original inhabitant of Assam. Regional Language Proficiency: The candidate should be able to speak Assamese or other official languages or associate official languages of the State or any of the tribal languages of the State. Employment Exchange: Candidates must be registered in any Employment Exchange Office in Assam. Small Family Norms: The candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of applying for the Combined Competitive (Prelims) Examination.
