Candidates need to follow a few simple steps in order to download the SSC Stenographer Admit Card from the official website. The steps are as follows:

Unlike few competitive exams where the correction mode is offered during form filling and submission and later that window is closed, the same does not hold true for SSC Stenographer Admit Card.

Documents Required with Admit Card
The documents that candidate need to carry along with the SSC Stenographer Admit Card 2023 are mentioned below:
- Photo Id proof: Candidates need to carry a government photo id proof along with them. Either of the mentioned id proofs like; Voter id card, pan card, driving license, Aadhar card will serve the purpose. Please make a note that any society id card or any such non-government identity cards will not be entertained in the test centers.
- Address proof: One requires carrying an address proof like; voter id card, Aadhar card, ration card.
- Photo: Candidates need to carry two passport-sized photos. These photos will be required for further processing by the Staff Selection Commission.

Exam Day Instructions
Below mentioned are few exam day instructions to be as mentioned in SSC Stenographer 2023 Admit Card:
- Carry the admit card print out in the SSC Stenographer exam center.
- Two recent passport sized photos are required to submit.
- The photos must be similar to the one uploaded.
- Id proof is essential to enter the exam hall.
- Candidates cannot carry any electronic device.
- Personal belongings including digital watch, mobile phones must be submitted before entering the exam hall.
- Candidates must carry a good quality HB pencil for OMR answer sheet.
- Candidates must reach the exam center at least 60 minutes before the exam begins.
- Credentials will be verified as per which a candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam.
- Candidates will be allotted seats half an hour before commencement of exam.
- The answer sheet will be provided 20 minutes before the exam time.

- No candidate will be allowed in the exam center when it is less than half an hour left for the exam to begin.

Ans. For General and OBC candidates the application fee is Rs. 100. For female candidates as well as candidates that belong to the SC / ST / PwD and Ex-servicemen category, they are exempted from paying the application fee.

Ques. What documents do I have to submit to avail a reserved vacancy or age relaxation?
Ans. Candidates who wish to procure a reserved vacancy or avail the option of increased relaxation must submit the required certificate to the appropriate authority, in the correct format, whenever such certificates are required by the concerend Regional / Sub Regional office at the time of document verification.
Failure to do so will lead to rejection of the candidate’s category status and their application will be filed under the (UR) unreserved category.
Ques. What certificate do I have to submit for SSC Stenographer 2023 if I belong to the OBC category?
Ans. A person that is seeking their candidature on the basis of a reservation in the OBC category must make sure that she/he has the appropriate case / community certificate and that they do not fall in the creamy layer on the prescribed date.
Ques. What certificate must I provide for If I have a disability?

Ques. What degrees are not accepted under educational qualifications?
Ans. As per the UGC (Open and Distance Learning) Regulations, 2017, all programmes in medicine, engineering, dental, nursing, pharmacy, architecture, and physiotherapy are not permissable under Open Distance Learning mode.
Ques. How can I pay the SSC Stenographer 2023 Application Fee?
Ans. Any candidate can pay their SSC Stenographer Fee through various portals. They can pay the fee through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or through Visa, Mastercard, Debit Card, Maestro or RuPay Credit. Another method is through paying cash at any SBI Branch by generating SBI Challan.
Ques. What will happen if there is a tie breaker case in SSC Stenographer?
Ans. In the case of two candidates attaining the same score in the Computer Based Examination (CBE), the tie will be resolved after applying the following method:
- Marks in Part I (i.e. General Intelligence & Reasoning)
- Marks in Part II (i.e. General Awareness)
- Date of Birth, with older candidate getting the advantage
- Alphabetical order of the candidate’s name

Ans. Unfortunately, regquest for change / correction in any particulars in the application form after it has been submitted will not be allowed under any circumstances.
Ques. I have cleared the cutoff marks but I was not qualified for the final selection. What should I do?
Ans. The candidate must approach the relevant authority i.e. the appropriate Regional / Sub Regional Office of the Commission within 2 months of the results being declared or a week or two prior to the conduct of the next stage of the examination, whichever one comes first.
