Steps to Apply Online

Candidates must be aware of the detailed steps to fill out the SSC CHSL Application Form as it is one of the crucial steps of recruitment. Visit SSC Official Website: Go to https://ssc.nic.in/, the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), and click on the “Apply” tab. 2. Access the Application Section: Click on the tab labeled “Apply” located on the website’s homepage. 3. Choose the Exam Category: Select the “Combined Higher Secondary Level” exam from the available options. 4. Complete Application Form: Fill in all required personal and educational details in the provided application form. 5. Obtain Registration Number and Password: Upon form completion, the system will generate a unique registration number and password for you. 6. Upload Photograph and Signature: Scan and upload your passport-size photograph and signature following the provided instructions. 7. Select Examination Centers: Choose any three examination centers within the same region from the available options. 8. Verify Information: Review all filled information carefully for accuracy before submission; changes cannot be made afterward. 9. Pay Application Fee: Proceed to pay the application fee through the available payment methods to finalize the application process.

Documents Required During Form Filling

The following documents should be kept at hand so that the form-filling is smooth and uninterrupted.

  1. Applicant’s signature scanned in JPG format, sized between 10 kb to 20 kb.
  2. Passport-sized photograph of the candidate, taken within the last three months from the notification date of the examination. Size should be between 20 kb to 50 kb in JPG format. The date of when the photograph was taken should be typed and visible on both the photograph and its scanned version.
  3. Valid e-mail ID of the candidate for registration and all related correspondence.
  4. Valid ID proof of the candidate.

Application Fee

Application fees for SSC CHSL need to be paid online. SSC CHSL Application form without application fees (wherever applicable) will be rejected immediately. The application fees for the various categories are as follows:

SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria for SC, ST, General, and OBC

Before applying online for the SSC CHSL 2024, candidates must check their eligibility as only eligible candidates can complete their application process. Essential Educational Qualifications

  1. For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, and DEO (except DEOs in C&AG): Candidates must have passed the 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
  2. For Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade ‘A’) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
  3. The candidates must possess essential qualifications on or before the closing date for receipt of online applications.
