TS SET Notification 2024 – Educational Qualifications
- For General/ Unreserved/ General-EWS candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree (i.e., M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, MBA, MLISC, M.Ed., M.PEd., MCJ, LLM, MCA and M.Tech (CSE & IT only)) or equivalent examination are eligible to apply.
- The candidates who are pursuing their Master’s Degree course or the candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master’s Degree
- The Ph.D. Degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed by 19th September 1991 (irrespective of the date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e., from 55% to 50%) for appearing in SET.
- Candidates are advised to appear in the subject of their Post-Graduation only.
TS SET 2024 Notification – Age Limit
There is no age limit to apply for TS-SET examination.
TS SET 2024 Selection Process
The selection of the candidates is based on their performance in the written examination.
Telangana SET 2024 – Application Fee
- For General Candidates: Rs. 2,000/-.
- For BC/ EWS Candidates: Rs. 1,500/-.
- For SC/ ST/ VH/ HI/ OH/ Transgender Candidates: Rs. 1,000/-.

TS SET 2024 Exam Date
The Telangana State Eligibility Test will be conducted in CBT Mode. The officials of Osmania University will conduct the TS SET Exam 2024 on the 28th, 29th, 30th, and 31st August 2024. Moreover, the TS-SET examination will be conducted in General Studies and 29 subjects in CBT mode in 8 cities in Telangana State.
TS SET Hall Ticket 2024
As per the schedule announced, the TS SET Hall Ticket 2024 will be uploaded by the officials from 20th August 2024. And no hall ticket will be made available through the post. Candidates have to download the TS SET Admit Card 2024 and should appear in the examination at the designated center.
