Under this scheme, support will be extended to ration cardholders and young individuals through a dual-pronged approach. Firstly, financial aid in the form of Rs. 1,000 will be disbursed to approximately 95.90 lakh Public Distribution System (PDS) beneficiary families. Secondly, eligible youth will have the opportunity to avail themselves of interest-free loans of up to Rs. 1 lakh. The primary objective of the Swayam Scheme 2024 is to foster empowerment among Odisha’s populace by providing them with essential financial assistance and avenues for self-reliance and economic advancement.
