PPSC Veterinary Officer Selection Process 2024
The selection process for the PPSC Veterinary Officer Recruitment is divided into two phases, i.e. Competitive Written Exam and Interview. The written exam is worth 480 marks, and the Interview round carries a weightage of 60 marks.

Competitive Written Exam
The competitive written exam is worth 400 marks. It consists of 120 multiple-choice questions each carrying 4 marks. Out of which, 100 questions will be asked from the recommended syllabus of Veterinary Science, and 20 questions will be asked each from Logical Reasoning and Mental Ability & General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
There will be a negative marking of 1 mark in the Competitive Written Exam, and the duration of the examination is 02 hours.
After the written examination, candidates thrice the number of total vacancies will be selected to appear for the interview stage according to the merit list.

Interview
Only those candidates who have to meet the cutoff criterion for the Competitive Written Exam will be eligible for the Interview stage. The interview accounts for 60 marks. The interview is conducted in two sessions, so you may either have to appear for the morning session or the afternoon session.
The venue of the interview is the Patiala office of the Commission. Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of the subject and should arrive at least one hour before the commencement of the interview to avoid any last-moment hassles. The interview will be conducted by a panel, and candidates will be asked questions to determine their eligibility for the advertised vacancies.
