OICL AO Recruitment Selection Process 2024
Interested candidates for the Administrative Officers position, the selection process involves three stages as mentioned below:
- Prelims Exam:
- Format: Objective type questions.
- Qualifying Nature: Marks obtained in the Prelims exam will not be added to the final merit list.
- Mains Exam:
- Format: Combination of objective and descriptive type paper.
- Total Marks: 230 (200 for objective + 30 for descriptive).
- Qualification Requirement: Candidates must achieve minimum marks in both sectional and overall categories to pass.
- Descriptive Test: The descriptive test will be conducted for 30 minutes and carrying 30 marks, candidates will be assessed on their English language skills through Letter Writing (10 marks) and Essay Writing (20 marks). This part of the test will be conducted online and is specifically in English.
For each section of the objective test, candidates need to achieve a minimum score to qualify for the Descriptive Test evaluation and subsequent interview. Only those candidates who will clear the objective test will have their descriptive answer checked. The cutoffs for the Descriptive paper assessment will be determined based on the available vacancies.
