How to Apply Online for OPSC AEE 2024?

Candidates willing to apply for the post of OPSC AEE must apply online through the commission’s website. The steps to apply online are as follows:

Step 1: Visit the OPSC Application Portal.

Step 2: Click on New Registration. Register yourself by providing the required details.

Step 3: Fill out the OPSC AEE Application Form.

Step 4: Scan and upload all the documents and certificates that are asked, Remember the scanned copies should be clear without any blotches. Also, the photograph that you upload should be recent and a clear copy.

Step 5: Click on Submit once the form is filled. The portal will direct you to Online Payment, where you can pay the application fee from the desired option.

Step 6: Once the application fee submission is successful, print the application form. Keep it safe; it will be of use in the future.

All candidates applying for the OPSC AEE Recruitment are exempted from payment of the application fee.

OPSC AEE Eligibility Criteria

OPSC AEE Educational Qualification

To be eligible for the post of OPSC Assistant Executive Engineer, the candidates must have the following qualifications:

• Qualified GATE in the relevant discipline (up to 3 years preceding the date of advertisement, including the year of advertisement).
• The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in the relevant engineering stream from any of the recognized universities in India.
• He/She must also be fluent in reading, speaking, and writing in the Odia language.

OPSC AEE Age Limit

The candidate must be at least 21 years old as of 1st January 2023 and must not be older than 38 years. Relaxation in age is provided to the candidates who belong to the following categories:

OPSC AEE Selection Process 2024

For the ongoing recruitment, the selection of candidates will be on merit basis of their GATE score. Therefore candidates who have qualified GATE in the relevant subject within 3 years preceding the advertisement (including the year of advertisements) are only eligible for the recruitment. The merit list shall be prepared based on aggregate marks secured in valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score carrying 90% weightage and interview carrying 10% weightage. However, the commission also recruits candidates without GATE. The notification for the same has not been released yet.
