NTPC Mining Overman Application Process

Step 5: Verify your eligibility criteria before paying the application fee as the fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Step 6: After applying online, download the application slip generated by the system, which contains a unique application number.

Step 7: Retain a copy of the application slip for future reference.

Step 8: It is mandatory that eligible candidates go through the full text of the advertisement and agree to all the conditions given while applying for the post.

NTPC Mining Overman Selection Process 2023

The selection process for the Mining Overman position involves two tests, namely the Written Test and Skill/Competency Test. The NTPC Mining Overman Selection Process 2023 will contain the following stages

Candidates who successfully clear the Written Test will proceed to the Skill/Competency Test, which is also worth 100 marks.

Educational Qualification

Full-time regular Diploma in Mining from an Institute of repute with a minimum 60% (For SC/ ST – minimum marks in academic qualification shall be pass marks) and Overman Certificate of Competency under CMR from DGMS for coal. Valid First Aid Certificate issued by Institutes recognized by DGMS. The candidate also required experience in the relevant discipline for one year.

The examination is conducted for 100 marks and a total of 100 questions are asked. The test duration is between 1 to 2 hours, and negative marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
