JPSC Eligibility Criteria 2024

JPSC Educational Qualification 2024

JPSC Nationality
Only the citizens of India are eligible for the Jharkhand PSC exam, i.e, the candidates of any other country are not eligible for the Jharkhand PSC exam.
JPSC Number of Attempts
There are no restrictions on how often applicants may apply to take the JPSC Civil Services exam, under the qualifying conditions. According to JPSC, candidates may apply for the post at any age between the minimum age requirement of 21 and the maximum age requirement of 35.

JPSC Selection Process 2024
Candidates are recruited for Group A and B posts in the Jharkhand state government via a competitive exam conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC). The Interview is a one-on-one conversation led by a group of professionals. JPSC Exam Pattern 2024
JPSC Selection Process consists of three steps, Prelims, Mains and Interview. Applicants who pass the prelims exam are called for the main exam, and those who pass the main exam are then selected for the interview, according to the JPSC Notification exam pattern. JPSC Prelims Exam Pattern 2024
There will be two papers for the preliminary exam: multiple-choice and objective-type questions.
- JPSC Prelims Exam consists of just screening tests.
- Based on their results in this JPSC Preliminary exam, candidates are chosen for the Main Examination.
- Paper 1’s General Knowledge section will consist of 200 marks and 100 questions.
- Paper 2’s General Knowledge questions, which include 100 questions and 200 total marks, are focused on Jharkhand.
- In both exams, there will be multiple-choice, objective questions.
- It will take two hours to finish each paper.
- There will be Negative Marking of 0.33 Marks
- The question paper will be bilingual and printed in both Hindi and English.

- There will be six exams in this written exam, each having standard essay-style questions.
- Every paper will be descriptive and last for three hours.
