Post Description : The IBPS PO online registration process is held annually on the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection’s (IBPS) official website, @ibps.in. In order to fill openings for Probationary Officers (CRP-XIV PO/MT) in various public sector banks, the IBPS PO 2024 Exam is being held. IBPS PO 2024 Overview

IBPS PO Exam Dates for Prelims and Mains were announced when IBPS Calendar 2024 was released. This This year IBPS PO Prelims will be held on 19th and 20th October 2024 and IBPS PO Mains Exam going to be commenced on 30th November 2024. The IBPS PO Selection Process includes 3 stages namely – Prelims, Mains and Interview.

Additionally to the IBPS Calendar, which was released on January 15, 2024, IBPS has informed applicants of the dates of the preliminary and main exams for the IBPS PO. IBPS PO Application Fees 2024

IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2024

IBPS PO Educational Qualification 

• Graduation Degree Eligibility:

  • Candidates must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India.
  • Equivalent qualifications recognized by the Central Government are also acceptable.
  • A valid mark sheet or Degree Certificate indicating graduation status and percentage of marks obtained is required at the time of registration for the IBPS Bank-PO examination.

• Computer Literacy Requirement:

  • Working knowledge of computer systems is essential for both the job role and for taking the IBPS PO exam, which is conducted online.

• Language Proficiency:

  • Verbal and written proficiency in the official language of the State/UT is desirable.
  • Candidates must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and speak the specified language.

IBPS PO Age Limit

Every candidate applying for the IBPS PO exam must be not less than 20 years and not more than 30 years at the time of registration. In addition, age relaxation application is available for specific candidates as per board rules:

IBPS PO Nationality

A candidate must be one of the following to apply for the IBPS CRP/Bank PO Examination:

1. Citizen of India
2. The subject of Nepal or Bhutan
3. Exiles from Tibet who entered India before January 1, 1962, with the aim of staying there permanently.
4. PIOs are people of Indian origin who have moved to India permanently from countries like Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam or East African ones like Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, or Malawi.

Candidates in categories 2, 3, and 4 must have a certificate of eligibility granted in their favour by the Government of India.

IBPS PO 2024 Selection Process

Candidates interested in the IBPS PO position should familiarize themselves with the notification details and understand the complete selection process to secure their final selection as an IBPS PO. The selection process for IBPS PO comprises three phases:

1. Prelims
2. Mains
3. Interview

To become an IBPS PO, candidates need to successfully pass through all these phases of the selection process.

IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2024

The preliminary examination pattern for IBPS PO 2024 consists of 100 questions with a maximum score of 100 marks. The questions will be distributed among three sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. Candidates will have 1 hour to complete the paper.

IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern 2024

The IBPO PO Main Exam is conducted via online mode, it has 5 (4+1) sections carrying marks 200+25 and duration of exam is 180+30 minutes. IBPS conducts a descriptive paper for selection of candidates for PO vacancies during its IBPS PO Mains Exam. The parts must be completed in the same order and in the same time that was allocated during the exam. Candidate must qualify both the preliminary and the main exam to get selected for the Interview round.
