Following is the list of the important dates for the candidates who will be appearing in the AP SET 2024.

AP SET 2024 – Eligibility Criteria

Candidates appearing for AP SET 2024 are required to fulfill certain eligibility criteria that are listed below.

• Candidates should be an Indian citizen.
• Candidates should have a Master’s Degree with a minimum aggregate of 55% for General/EWS candidates.
• Candidates from the reserved categories are given 5% of relaxation i.e., these candidates should have a minimum aggregate of 50%.
• Final year candidates pursuing Master’s Degree are also eligible.
• Transgender candidates will be provided with relaxations, fees and other facilities similar to SC/ST reserved candidates.
• Candidates with PhD who completed their Master’s exams by 19^th September 1991 are also eligible with 5% of relaxation for SET.
• No age limit is given.

AP SET 2024 – Registration/Application Process

The registration and application process will begin in the 2^nd week of August 2024. This will continue till the 2^nd week of September 2024. The process is done through online mode only. Step – 1: Candidates are required to visit the official website of AP SET – https://apset.net.in/ to begin the registration and application process. Step – 2: Candidates are then required to register themselves online through the website portal and follow the steps. After registration is done, candidates are then required to fill in the application form. Step – 3: In the final step, candidates are then required to make the payment for the application form through online mode only.

AP SET 2024 – Syllabus

The AP SET 2024 consists of two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. The syllabus covers specific topics related to each subject.

• Paper 1 is of a general nature, testing teaching/research aptitude, comprehension ability, reasoning, divergent thinking, and general awareness.
• Paper 2 is based on the subject selected by the candidate. The detailed subject-wise syllabus for Paper 2 includes various subjects such as Computer Science & Application, Management, Economics, Education, and Anthropology.

AP SET 2024 – Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for the AP SET 2024 consists of two papers, Paper-I and Paper-II.

• Exam mode: Offline (Pen-paper based)
• Language of paper: English and Telugu
• Exam duration: 1 hour for Paper-I and 2 hours for Paper-II
• Type of Questions: Objective Type Questions (MCQs)

AP SET 2024 – Admit Card

The admit cards for AP SET 2024 will be released for the participating candidates in the 4^th week of October 2024. These admit cards will be released by the authorities online on the official website for the registered candidates. Candidates will have to log in with their details to avail their respective admit cards with important information such as – name, venue, date, time, etc. It is advised for the candidates to keep a hard copy of their admit cards for future reference.

AP SET 2024 – Results & Answer Keys

The results for the APSET 2024 will be published in the 4^th week of November 2024 through the online mode. The authorities will also be publishing an “Answer Key” set for the participating candidates before publishing the results.
