UGC NET Public Administration Exam Age Limit
The UGC NET Public Administration Exam has different age limits for candidates, depending on their category.
- For JRF (Junior Research Fellowship), the maximum age limit is 30 years as of June 1, 2024.
- Candidates belonging to OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, third gender categories, as well as women applicants, can avail a relaxation of up to 5 years.
- Candidates with research experience in relevant/related subjects of their post-graduation degree can get a maximum relaxation of 5 years with a certificate from an appropriate authority.
- L.L.M. degree holders get a 3-year age relaxation, and candidates with armed forces experience get a 5-year relaxation based on their service duration, not exceeding 5 years in total.
- There is no maximum age limit for Assistant Professors in UGC-NET.
