SSC CHSL Tier 1 Selection Process 2024

The SSC CHSL Tier 1 Selection Process for the year 2024 is a Computer Based Examination that consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for a total of 200 marks, with 0.5 negative markings for each incorrect answer. SSC CHSL Selection Process 2024 Tie Case Resolution

In the event of a tie between two or more candidates in the SSC CHSL Selection Process 2024, the tie will be resolved using the following priorities:

  • Aggregate marks scored by the candidates in the written Exam: The candidate with higher aggregate marks in the written exam (Tier 1 and Tier 2 combined) will be given preference.
  • Older candidates will be given preference: If the tie still persists, the older candidate among the tied candidates will be given preference.
  • Candidate’s names in alphabetical order: If the tie still exists, the candidates’ names will be arranged in alphabetical order, and the candidate whose name comes first will be given preference.

SSC CHSL Final Selection

Candidates’ final selection is determined by their performance in the Tier I and Tier II exams. The SSC compiles a merit list based on candidates’ marks across both stages of the selection process.

Priority in the merit list is given to candidates with higher scores in all the stages. Those who pass the Tier II exam are invited for document verification.
