Short Information : National Testing Agency (NTA) Common University Admission Test CUET UG 2024 is a common entrance examination conducted for admission to graduation courses in various universities of India. This year the entrance exam of CUET UG 2024 is held from 15 to 31 May 2024. CUET UG 2024 Exam Date, Registration Start and Last Date

CUET 2024 exam date is out with the release of the annual calendar by NTA. CUET 2024 dates for other major events like registration, admit card, result, etc. have also been released at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG.

CUET 2024 official website has been changed. Instead of cuet.samarth.ac.in, CUET UG 2024 official website is exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG. NTA has activated exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG 2024 along with the release of the information brochure and syllabus pdf.

CUET Information Bulletin 2024

CUET information bulletin is the official document released by NTA that covers all the details related to the exam. You can find the detailed course-wise eligibility criteria, exam pattern, subject codes, admit card guidelines, and post-exam processes in CUET information bulletin. How to Register for CUET 2024?

CUET 2024 registration is open from February 27 to March 26, 2024. NTA has activated CUET registration link online only on exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. Just like JEE Main and NEET, you have to use one of the below-mentioned options to register for CUET 2024 exam.

• To log in/create a Digi locker account through the NAD portal
• To log in/create an Academic Bank of Credits ID (ABC ID) through the ABC ID.
• To log in using an Indian Indian Passport Number.
• To log in using a Non-Indian Passport Number.
• To log in using a PAN Card Number.
• To log in using an Aadhaar Enrollment Number

What is ABC ID?

ABC ID stands for Academic Bank of Credits ID. ABC ID is a nationwide digital system that stores student’s academic records (degrees, diplomas, certificates, skill training details) in a secure, easily accessible manner. This year, NTA has made it mandatory for candidates to register for the exam using either a Digilocker ID or ABC ID. You can find your 12-digit ABC ID once you register through the official website at abc.gov.in.

Documents Required for CUET Registration

You need to keep a few documents ready as per the CUET photo size and document upload guidelines specified by NTA before starting with the registration process.

• Class 10 and Class 12 Marksheet
• Recent passport size photograph
• Scanned copy of signature done in running hand
• Caste/ category certificate, if applicable
• Valid photo ID proof like Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, Passport, etc.

CUET 2024 Registration Fees

NTA has increased CUET registration fees across all categories. CUET form fees vary depending upon the category and number of test paper choices made.

CUET UG 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Before the registration, you need to ensure that you meet the CUET eligibility criteria 2024 defined by NTA and respective universities. CUET 2024 eligibility criteria defines the age limit, nationality & domicile criteria, qualification and minimum marks requirements in class 12 boards.

• There is no age limit to apply for CUET 2024 exam. Those who have cleared class 12 boards can apply for the exam irrespective of their age.
• There are no minimum qualifying marks in class 12 boards to apply for CUET exam 2024.

However, you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria of the institution you are aiming for admission to. For example, for B.Sc (Hons.) from BHU, the minimum marks requirement in class 12 boards is 50% in the respective subjects. How to Choose CUET UG 2024 Subject Combination?

As previously mentioned, one of the major changes in CUET UG 2024 is the reduction in the number of subjects combination that can be chosen by students at the time of registration. Unlike last year students have been limited to choose only 6 subjects instead of 10. CUET paper offers 3 different sections-

• Section 1A has Language subjects which is further divided into Part 1(A) and Part 1(B).
  • Part 1(A) has 13 languages and
  • Part 1(B) consists of 20 language subjects.

• Section 3 is a General Test paper

For Arts students, any BA course is suitable subject to fulfillment of the eligibility criteria. Along with this, you can choose a B.Com program course if you have studied any B.Com related subjects in your class 12. Last year, students had an opportunity to choose upto 10 subjects in CUET.
