NVS Admission Class 9 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Before filling up the Navodaya Vidyalaya admission class 9 form, students must check the eligibility criteria. Students who are not eligible for admission, their admission will be cancelled without any intimation.

• Students must be studying in class 8 during the academic year 2023-24 in a government or recognized school.
• Students must be located in the district where Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is functioning and where admission is sought.
• Date of Birth of the candidate must be between May 1, 2009 to July 31, 2011 (both days inclusive). This is applicable to all categories of candidates including those who belong to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
• Students must pass class 8 from a recognized board/government school to be eligible for JNV admission 2024 class 9.

Navodaya Class 9 Exam date 2024

• Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test, JNVST admit card for Class 9 exam.
• Candidates appearing for the exam can check and download their 9th class NVS admit card from the official website.
• To access the admit card, candidates would be required to key in their registration number and date of birth.
• NVS is conducting JNVST lateral entry test for Class 9 to fulfil the remaining seats.
• The exam will be conducted on 11-02-2024.
• The test will be objective and will be conducted within a duration of 2.5 hours.
• Candidates appearing for the test would be required to carry their admit card to their respective centres.
• As per the JNVST Class 9 admission test syllabus will include questions from Class 8.
• The question paper will comprise four sections: English (15), Hindi(15), Mathematics (35) and Science(35).
• The question paper will be of a total 100 objective type questions carrying a total of 100 marks.
• The Centre for the JNVST Class 9 examination is Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya of the respective district or outside centre on need basis.

Navodaya 9th class entrance exam 2024 details: The selection test contains questions from the subjects of Mathematics, General Science, English and Hindi. The total duration of the exam is three hours. The subjects include English, Hindi, Maths, Science carrying a total of 100 marks. The question paper will be in Hindi and English. The examination will be of two and a half hour duration from 10 am to 12:30 pm. Students will have to answer in the OMR sheet.
