Post Description : On April 5, 2024, NTA closed the CUET UG 2024 Registration procedure. NTA declared the registration/application procedure open on February 27, 2024. The window for corrections remained open until April 8, 2024. NTA made available the data on applicants and applications received that had been studied in comparison to the previous two editions, following the conclusion of the application process. The exam is slated to take place between May 16 and May 31, 2024.

NTA expectation indicates a more intensified competition in CUET 2024. This year, students were allowed to apply for a maximum of 6 subjects and the application trends show that the number of subjects per applicant rose to 4.3 from the previous year’s 2.3.

Subject-Wise Number of Applications in CUET UG 2024

CUET 2024 will have 75% students for the English exam and 62% students for the general test exam. The popular domains in Science and language papers have recorded a new high for the subject-wise application trends. However, domains like Commerce, Humanities, and Social Science have recorded a drop in the number of applications. Candidates can check the brief breakdown and analysis below
