UPPCl Technician Result Out! This is for the CBT stage of the 2022 cycle. The shortlisted candidates will appear for the document verification. The UPPCL Technician Recruitment 2024 Notification will be out soon. A candidate must have passed Science and Maths in class 10th along with two years of ITI training in the respective areas. UPPCL TG2 exam is conducted for the post of Technician in different departments of the Uttar Pradesh government. Highlights of the UPPCL Technician Recruitment are as follows:.

• The Selection process will be done on the basis of a Computer Based Test (CBT).
• The UPPCL Technician CBT consists of two parts i.e. Part I( Computer Knowledge) and Part-II. The written examination, on the whole, is for 250 marks.
• Candidates securing qualifying marks in the CBT examination will be shortlisted for the merit list.
• Furthermore, the UPPCL Technician will receive a salary in the pay scale of Rs 27200 to Rs. 86100.

The 2022 cycle has been announced. This is for the 2022 cycle. The DV of the shortlisted candidates will be conducted from 9th to 12th February 2024.

UPPCL Technician Selection Process

UPPCL Technician Selection process is based on Computer Based Test (CBT). This CBT is further divided into two parts, the details of these parts are given below. 

Part 1: Computer Knowledge (Based on the pattern of 

Part 2: General Awareness & Reasoning Ability, General Hindi, General English and Technical Knowledge

UPPCL Technician​ Part 1

Paper will have 50 Qs based on Computer Knowledge (NIELIT “CCC” Pattern). Each question will carry 1 mark. Negative markings include deduction of 1/4th marks for every wrong answer.

Note: It is compulsory for the candidates to secure a minimum of 20 marks on this computer knowledge test.

UPPCL Technician Part 2

The Part 2 of UPPCL Technician Technician 2024 exam will have 4 sections that include Technical Knowledge, General Studies & Reasoning Ability, General English and General Hindi.

UPPCL Technician Eligibility Criteria 

Every aspirant who wishes to work with the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited as a TG2 must fulfil the  mentioned in the notification. We have given the age limit, qualifications & other criteria for this recruitment below.

UPPCL Technician Age limit

The age limit of the candidate applying for the post of UPPCL Technician is shown below-

• Minimum Age – 18 years
• Maximum Age – 40 years

*The upper age relaxation is applicable for different categories as per the State Government Rules & Regulations Educational Qualification.

• SC/ST/OBC/ExS/Dependents of Freedom Fighters (of U.P. Domicile) – 5 years
• Physically Handicapped Candidates (Disability Type: OA/OL/PB/PD) – 15 years
• If you are availing age relaxation, your maximum age should not exceed 55 years.

UPPCL Technician Educational Qualification

You must be passed High School level or equivalent; with Science and Maths Subjects from any recognized board along with 02 Years Certification on NCVT /SCVT approved Certification in following trades

• Electrician
• Electrical
• Electrical (Electricity Distribution under Kaushal Vikas)

UPPCL Technician Exam Pattern 

The is given below:

• UPPCL TG2 Exam consists of 2 Parts – Part 1 & Part 2
• Part 1 will test the basic Computer Knowledge Of Candidate
• Part 1 will comprise of 50 questions for 50 marks
• It is mandatory to score at least 20 marks in the computer test. It is qualifying in nature and the written test will only be evaluated after qualifying the computer test.
• Computer test marks will not be added to make merit list.
• Part 2 will have 4 sections – General Hindi, General English, Technical Knowledge & Reasoning
• Part 2 will have 200 questions for 200 marks
• There is a negative marking of 1/4th of total marks for each wrong answer
