CISF Constable/Driver Vacancy:

The recruitment notification for the CISF Constable Driver has been released. As per the notification, a total of 496 vacancies have been released by CISF for Constable Driver post. The following table shows the post wise and category wise distribution of vacancies.

CISF Constable/Driver Application Process:

CISF Constable/Driver Selection Process:

The selection for this recruitment will be carried out through five major stages. The candidates will be checked for their physical measurements and fitness. The verification of the information submitted by the applicants in the application form will be done by the scrutiny of documents. Candidates will have to appear for the written test which can be Computer-based or OMR sheet based. The driving skills and knowledge of the candidate will also be tested under the trade test. Those candidates who will be successful in clearing all the above-mentioned stages will undergo a Detailed Medical Examination. Hence the overall selection process will be as follows.

The order or the sequence of this stage will be subjected to changes, except for the medical exam. The final selection will be made based on the merit position of the candidates.

CISF Constable/Driver Eligibility:

A. Nationality:

Only Indian citizens of eligible to apply for this post. Subjects/Nationals of other countries cannot apply.

B. Age Limit:

The candidate’s age must be anything between:

• Minimum Age – 21 years
• Maximum Age – 27 years
• The reference date to determine the age limit will be the last date for submitting the online applications.
• The age relaxations will be applicable as per the govt. rules.

C. Education:

The candidates should have passed the 10th class i.e. should have studied up to matriculation level from a recognized board of education.

D. Experience:

Candidate applying must have 3 years experience of driving a Heavy Motor Vehicle or Transport Vehicle or light motor vehicle and Motor Cycle.

E. Others:

Here are some other requirements for the post.

• Only male candidates can apply for this post.
• The candidate must possess a valid driving license for the heavy motor vehicle, light motor vehicle, and motor with gear. The license should have been issued at least 3 years ago as of the last date of applying.

CISF Constable/Driver Exam Pattern:

The written examination will be conducted either on the Computer or OMR sheet. The exam will consist of 100 questions carrying one mark each. The total duration of the exam will be 2 hours. The questions will be objective-type multiple choice. The questions will be asked from topics like General awareness/knowledge, Elementary mathematics, Basic Hindi/English, and Analytical aptitude. The exam pattern will be as follows:

The candidates will also have to appear for the Trade test by clearing the written test as well as other stages of selection. The trade test will consist of driving tasks and a knowledge test. The marks scored in this test will not be considered for the final merit list. The candidates must just qualify by scoring minimum qualifying marks. The pattern for trade test will be as follows.

CISF Constable/Driver Admit Card:

The relevant instructions for the said process will be provided at the time of the answer key release.

CISF Constable/Driver Cut Off:

The cut off marks will be decided by the CISF considering the total number of vacancies and the number of candidates who qualify the written test. These cut-off marks will be declared category-wise. In order to qualify, the candidates must score the minimum qualifying marks which are :

• 35% for General/Ex-Serviceman
• 33% for ST/OBC/SC.

CISF Constable/Driver Result:
