Short Information: The RBI Assistant Exam is conducted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to fill the vacancies for the posts of Assistants in various branches of the RBI across India. RBI Assistant 2023- Important Dates :

RBI Assistant Notification 2023 with complete details has been released on the official website. RBI Assistant 2023 Prelims Exam to be held on 18th & 19th November 2023 and Mains on 31st December 2023. All important dates for the RBI Assistant 2023 exam are updated in the table below as the dates are announced with the RBI Assistant 2023 Notification.

RBI Assistant 2023 Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay Rs. 450 (for General and OBC Candidate) or Rs. 50 (for Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD) as their Application Fee for RBI Assistant 2023 Exam. He/She can pay the application fee online using net banking or by any credit/debit card.

Please note that no application fee is required to be paid by the RBI staff.

RBI Assistant Age Limit (as on 01/09/2023):

A candidate must range between 20 to 28 years of age to be eligible for the RBI Assistant 2023 Exam. Age relaxation is given to candidates belonging to the reserved category. The age relaxations granted by the Government of India are mentioned in the table below:

15 years for SC/ST
Ex-Servicemen To the extent of service rendered by them in Armed Forces plus an additional period of 3 years subject to maximum of 50 years.
Widows/divorced women/ women judicially separated who are not re-married 10 Years
Candidates, holding working experience of RBI To the extent of the number of years of such experience, subject to a maximum of 3 years.

RBI Assistant 2023 Eligibility:

Nationality: A candidate is required to be (a) a citizen of India or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or 
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

RBI Assistant Educational Qualification (as on 01/09/2023):

A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 50% (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) and above in any discipline to be eligible for the RBI Assistant 2023 Exam. He/She must hold knowledge of computers as well as have proficiency in the official language of the concerned state of Union Territory.

RBI Assistant 2023 Admit Card & Call Letter:

Candidates are required to download the RBI Assistant 2023 exam admit card from its official website as the admit card won’t be sent to candidates via post. To login to the official website, a candidate will require the following:

  • • Registration No./Roll No.
  • • Date of Birth/Password

The admit card/call letter will be issued to candidates in three phases:

  1. Online Preliminary Examination
  2. Online Mains Examination
  3. Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

RBI Assistant 2023 Selection Process:

RBI Assistant 2023 exam is going to be conducted in three phases [Prelims + Mains + Language Proficiency Test (LPT)]. The preliminary examination has three sections: Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability and English Language.

1. The mains exam has five different sections: Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, Computer Knowledge and General Awareness.

2. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for the wrong answers attempted by the candidate. No marks will be deducted if the question is left unanswered or blank.

RBI Assistant 2023 Online Application:

RBI Assistant 2023 Result:

Reserve Bank of India releases the result of the RBI Assistant 2023 exam within 1-2 weeks after the examination is over. Candidates who appeared for the RBI Assistant exam can check the result & Score Card at the official website. The result is released separately for each stage and the RBI Assistant final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the Mains exam and Language Proficiency Test.
