JAIIB Exam Pattern 2024

JAIIB Exam consists of four papers: Indian Economy and Indian Financial System (IE & IFS); Principles and Practices of Banking (PPB); Accounting and Financial Management for Bankers (AFM); and Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM). Each paper of the JAIIB exam is further divided into different modules. In the JAIIB Exam 2024, which is going to conducted in an online medium, each of the four papers will comprise 100 questions, with a total of 100 marks. JAIIB Exam Pattern 2024 Passing Criteria

Here’s the Passing Criteria for JAIIB Exam Pattern 2024:

  • The JAIIB 2024 Exam has no negative marking.
  • To qualify, you need at least 50 marks out of 100 in each paper.
  • In your first attempt, if you score 45 marks or more in each paper and have an overall aggregate of 50% across all subjects, you pass.
  • Once you pass a paper, that result is retained until your time limit for completing the JAIIB Exam expires.

JAIIB Exam Pattern 2024 Time Limit For Passing JAIIB Exam

Here are the key points about the time limit for passing the JAIIB Exam explained in simple terms:

  • You have 5 chances to pass the JAIIB Exam within a maximum of 3 years, starting from the moment you register for the exam.
  • These 5 attempts don’t have to be one after the other; they can be spread out.
  • If you can’t pass the exam within 3 years or after 5 attempts (whichever comes first), you’ll need to sign up for the JAIIB Exam again.
  • The 3-year or 5-attempt period begins from the date of your first registration, not from when you actually take the exams.
  • Within those 3 years, you can apply for any 5 out of the 6 JAIIB exams. If you take all 5 attempts before 3 years, you’ll have to re-enroll. Similarly, if you don’t use all 5 attempts but 3 years pass, you’ll need to re-enroll.
