Marking Scheme:

  • There are no deductions for wrong answers in the CAIIB Exam 2024.
  • To pass each subject, candidates need to score a minimum of 50 out of 100 marks.
  • Alternatively, if candidates secure at least 45 marks in each subject and achieve an overall aggregate of 50% across all subjects in a single attempt, they will also qualify for the exam.

Passing Criteria:

  • Candidates have a maximum of 5 attempts to clear each exam within three years, starting from the date of their first registration.
  • The 5 attempts do not need to be consecutive, providing flexibility for candidates to take breaks between attempts.
  • If candidates cannot pass the exam within 3 years or after 5 attempts (whichever comes first), they need to start fresh, and any subjects passed earlier will not count.
  • Attempts are counted when candidates apply for the exam, regardless of whether they actually take the exam.
  • Within the three-year period, candidates can apply for any five exams out of the six available.
  • If candidates exhaust all 5 attempts before 3 years or if 3 years pass without using all 5 attempts, they will need to enroll again.
