Several opportunities are available with the latest recruitment notification, featuring various posts:

1. Graduate Apprentice (Total: 28):
   • Qualification: Candidates should hold a Degree in Engineering.
2. Technician Apprentice (Total: 8):
   • Qualification: Diploma in Engineering is required for this post.
3. Graduate General Stream (Total: 14):
   • Qualification: Any degree from a recognized university is necessary.
4. Trade Apprentice (Total: 25):
   • Qualification: Candidates must have completed 10th Class/ITI.

Selection process:

➢ Eligible candidates for various categories will be sourced / extracted from the data base of the
apprenticeship portals.
➢ Selection shall be based on merit as per mark secured in the degree/ diploma course as mentioned against
each Apprentice posts.
➢ First preference shall be given to candidates belonging to the State in which the Power Station (s) is/ are
located. After allocation of seats to candidates belonging to the state, if no sufficient candidates are found;
selection for rest nos. of seats shall be based on the merit as per marks secured in the Graduation / diploma
engineering course by the candidates belonging to other NE states of domicile.
➢ List of selected candidates will be made available at www.neepco.co.in. The call letters will be sent through
their registered email only.

How to Apply:

Interested eligible candidates should apply as per instructions given below:
(A) For Graduate Engineering & Diploma Engineering- (Category of apprentices appears at Sl.No.1 & 2)
➢ Candidates must apply online at National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) and no other mode of
application will be accepted.
Step I
➢ The Candidates must get himself / herself enrolled / registered with Board of Practical Training (BOPT),
through online enrolment at National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS), in www.mhrdnats.gov.in and
poses a valid enrolment ID generated after successful enrolment.
➢ For instance, there may be candidates who possess qualification of both B.Tech and Diploma. If he/ she apply
against Technician (Diploma)/ Graduate , the training slots, he/she must register as either Diploma or
graduate only in the NATS portal (www.mhrdnats.gov.in)
Step II
➢ After successful online registration at www.mhrdnats.gov.in and receipt of a valid enrolment ID, the candidate is
advised to log in using your registered ID and Password can apply against the following Establishment of NEEPCO
and opt for the desired stream in line with fulfilment of educational qualifications and eligibility criteria.
