INDIAN FOREST SERVICE EXAMINATION, 2022 – MINIMUM QUALIFYING MARKS:
The Indian Forest Service Examination of 2022 has established minimum qualifying marks for various categories across different stages. In the Preliminary exam, candidates need to score a minimum of 103.03 (General), 100.34 (EWS), 102.36 (OBC), 90.91 (SC), 88.89 (ST), 43.78 (PwBD-1), 57.23 (PwBD-2), and 47.13 (PwBD-3). Moving to the Main exam, the minimum marks required are 631 (General), 608 (EWS), 584 (OBC), 537 (SC), 569 (ST), 392 (PwBD-1), 541 (PwBD-2), and 548 (PwBD-3). Finally, for the overall Final result, candidates must achieve at least 882 (General), 834 (EWS), 831 (OBC), 782 (SC), 789 (ST), 563 (PwBD-1), 778 (PwBD-2), and 713 (PwBD-3). These qualifying marks serve as crucial benchmarks for candidates aspiring to secure positions in the Indian Forest Service.

- Cut off marks on the basis of GS Paper-I only. GS Paper-II is a qualifying paper with a minimum qualifying
marks fixed at 33%. - Subject to minimum 5% marks in each paper
TIE-PRINCIPLES:
Wherever two or more candidates have secured equal aggregate marks in Indian Forest Service
Examination, 2022, the tie(s) have been resolved in accordance with the principles approved by the
Commission, viz.,
- Candidate with more marks in compulsory papers and the Personality Test put together is to
be ranked higher ; - In case the marks at (i) above are also equal, the candidate who is senior in age is to be ranked
higher
