CTET December 2023- Important Dates:
CBSE is expected to conduct the CTET 2023 Exam twice this year. CTET December 2023 Notification is expected to be released on the official website along with complete schedule on 03rd November 2023. The CTET Dec 2023 Exam will be held in the month of January 2024 for which the exact dates will be announced shortly. CTET 2023 Application Fee:
A candidate belonging to either the General or OBC category is required to pay Rs. 1000/- (if applying for either Paper I or Paper II) and Rs. 1200/- (if applying for both papers). The same amount is reduced to Rs. 600/- (if applying for either Paper I or Paper II) and Rs. 600/- (if applying for both papers) for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.

CTET 2023 Qualifications to Appear for CTET 2023:
Candidates should possess the minimum qualifications for the teaching staff in accordance with the following to be eligible for appearing in the CTET:
- National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) (Determination of Minimum Qualifications for Persons to be Recruited as Education Teachers and Physical Education Teachers in Pre-Primary, Primary, Upper Primary, Secondary, Senior Secondary or Intermediate Schools or Colleges) Regulations.
- Minimum educational qualifications as laid down in the Recruitment Rules for the teachers by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), and other schools.
- Candidates should satisfy their eligibility before applying for the exam as they are fully responsible in case they are not eligible to apply as per the given CTET eligibility 2023. If a candidate has been allowed to appear for the CTET 2023 exam, it does not imply that his or her eligibility has been verified. The eligibility will be finally verified by the concerned recruiting body or school.
CTET 2023 December Registration:
The online registration process for CTET 2023 December will start on the official website from 03rd November 223 onwards and will be continued till 23rd November 2023. Candidates who are waiting for the CTET December 2023 Exam will be able to fill out their registration form from the direct link which will be updated on the official website. CTET 2023 Selection Process:
Candidates appearing for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be shortlisted on the basis of their score in the CTET December 2023 Exam. CTET is an eligibility test only which means, qualifying CTET does not guarantee jobs to the aspirants. They have to apply for recruitment at different schools based on the available vacancies which require CTET Certification for which the candidates must score more or equal to 60% marks in order to get selected.
CTET 2023 Exam Pattern:
CTET 2023 Exam will be conducted in two phases:
- Paper I
- Paper-II
Paper I is conducted for candidates who have been looking forward to becoming teachers for Class 1 to 5 and Paper II is conducted for candidates who aspire to become teachers for Class 6 to 8. Candidates also have the option to apply for both Paper-I and Paper II. Questions asked in both Paper I and Paper II are Objective Multiple Choice Questions. A candidate is required to score a minimum of 60% to qualify CTET 2023 Exam. One major thing to note is that the CTET score is now valid for a lifetime as announced by CBSE.

CTET 2023 Results:
The declaration of results will be done by CBSE after the examination of CTET is conducted. The CTET result will be declared within 04 (Four) weeks from the date of conduct of the examination. So the CTET 2023 Result will be declared tentatively after a month.
