IBPS Clerk 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the IBPS Clerk Exam 2024, the candidate needs to meet these three requirements:

IBPS Clerk Nationality / Citizenship

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan Refugee (arrived in India before January 1st, 1962), or a person of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries with the intention of settling in India permanently.

Educational Qualification:

  • Minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
  • Must possess a valid Graduation Mark-sheet/Degree Certificate at the time of registration.
  • Computer Literacy: Candidates should have operating and working knowledge in computer systems. This can be demonstrated through a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language or having studied Computer/Information Technology as a subject in High School/College/Institute.
  • Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT where vacancies are sought is preferable. Candidates should be able to read, write, and speak the Official Language of the State/UT.

IBPS Clerk Age Limit

IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2024

The IBPS Clerk CRP XIII recruitment happens in two main steps:

  1. Preliminary Examination: This is the initial test that candidates have to pass.
  2. Mains Examination: Once candidates clear the preliminary exam, they move on to this more detailed test.

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Pattern 2024

The Exam Pattern for IBPS Clerk 2024 hasn’t changed. The IBPS Clerk Mains Exam will now have 190 questions that must be answered within 160 minutes. In the past, Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability sections were separate. But, IBPS has combined them in a recent update. These two sections will now have 50 questions to be solved in 45 minutes.
