WB JECA 2024 Eligibility Criteria
JECA 2024 eligibility criteria specifies the academic qualifications, domicile, age criterion that are mandatory for candidates to apply for admissions. The detailed eligibility criteria of JECA 2024 is given below.
- Candidates must have passed 3-year Bachelor degree programs from UGC recognized University with at least 60% in Honours/Aggregate (45% for SC/ST/OBCA/OBC-B/PwD candidates) along with 60% in Mathematics at the Bachelor’s level together with at least 60% marks in Secondary and Higher Secondary or equivalent examination with at least 60% in Mathematics in both Secondary or equivalent and Higher Secondary or equivalent examinations from recognized Boards.
- Candidates, who are due to appear in the 3 year Bachelor degree examination in current year will have to submit their mark sheet or grade card within 3 months from the commencement of the 1st semester classes. OR UGC and/or AICTE recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3-years duration.
- Obtained 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) at graduation level. OR Graduate or equivalent degree under (10+2+3) pattern in any discipline of a UGC recognized University/Institute or AICTE recognized B.E./B.Tech/BCA of a University/Institute.
- Candidate must have Mathematics as one of the subjects at each level of education. Candidates have to secure 60% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBCA/OBC-B candidates) at each level education. OR Candidates must pass 3 year B. Sc. Hons. from UGC recognized university with at least 60% in Honours (55% for SC/ST candidates) in Bachelor level having Mathematics as one of the subject together with at least 60% marks in 10th level and (10+2) level with at least 60% in Mathematics in both 10th and (10+2) level from recognized Board.

During the WB JECA 2024 application process, the following documents will be required:

WB JECA 2024 Registration –
Step 1: Candidates must first complete the WB JECA 2024 registration process by following the instructions.
Visit to the WBJEE registration website.
Click on ‘JECA 2024 Online Application Form’.
Choose ‘New Candidate Registration.’
Read the instructions and then click ‘I agree and Proceed.’
For registration, enter your name, parents’ names, DOB, mobile number, and email address. All information must be correct and match the information on school admit cards, mark sheets, certificates, photo identity cards, caste/category certificates, and so on.
Select a password, as well as a security question and answer.
Click the ‘Submit’ button.
Following successful registration, a WB JECA application number will be generated and communicated to candidates via SMS and email.
Step 2: Filling Out the WB JECA 2024 Application Form- After registering, candidates should login to the candidate portal to complete all of the WB JECA application form details such as personal, academic, and communication information such as domicile, category, PwD status, home district, nationality, religion, and so on. In this step, candidates must also select three preferred WB JECA exam centers.
Step 3: Uploading Documents- Once all of the application details have been entered, candidates must upload scanned images of their photograph and signature in accordance with the specifications provided by the authorities.
Step 4: Fee Payment- After uploading documents, candidates must pay the WB JECA 2024 application fee via net banking/debit/credit card.
WB JECA 2024 Application Fee – Rs 500 plus bank charges
Step 5: Printing Confirmation Page- After completing the steps, candidates will be directed to the “Downloading Confirmation Page” option. The WB JECA application process will not be completed unless a confirmation page is generated.
