WB JELET 2024 Online Form

JELET Eligibility Criteria

Below we have discussed the detail eligibility criteria that are required to appear in the Entrance examination.

• Citizenship – candidates must be the permanent resident of India.
• Age – There is no maximum age limit applicable for the candidates who have done Diploma in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy.
• The maximum age limit for the Applicants of B.SC degree is 27years.
• Candidates who have done Diploma in Marine Engineering, for them the maximum age limit is 25 years.

Admission Norms through WBJEE JELET

1. The applicants must hold the Diploma degree in the respective field from an AICTE approved Institute or college as per the guidelines set by the Director of Technical Education. Govt. of West Bengal.
2. The diploma holders must have got minimum 45% marks or equivalent CGPA in their Diploma Degree for general candidates and the reserved category candidates SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/PwD must have got minimum 40% marks.
3. Althoug to take admission in Jadavpur University, general category candidate must have got minimum 60% and reserved category (SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PwD) candidates must have got 45% marks or equivalent CGPA in their diploma exam in the respective field.
4. Admission in Degree Course in Marine Engineering will be as per the relevant norms of D.G shipping.

JELET Admit Card 2024

The candidates who have successfully filled the Online WBJEE application form will be able to download the Admit Card when it will be released in the official website. Applicants have to enter correct credentials to download the admit card. The applicants must keep multiple hard copies of the admit card. For appearing in the exam applicants have to carry admit card, valid ID card and a Passport sized photograph the same uploaded in the Application form.

WB JELET Result 2024

After the successful commencement of the examination the authority will publish the result of the entrance exam in the form f rank card or merit list. Candidates can see their result on the announce date by entering their credentials and they can also download their rank cards. The rank card will hold the details like candidate’s name, score and ranks. Result will be prepared on the basis of candidate’s score in the exam. WBJEE will release 5 different merit lists. There will be tie breaking criteria applicable in case of tie in the marks/ranks.

WBJEE JELET Counselling 2024

After the release of the merit list only the selected candidates can attend the counselling round. Candidates have to register to attend the counselling. In the counselling round the authority will verify the original documents of the candidates. All the applicants must physically attend the counselling round on the allotted time and venue, Otherwise candidates can lose their candidature.
