Brief Information: Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has given a notification for conducting the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS Ed.CET-2024). TS Ed CET Notification 2024 – Eligibility Criteria

Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for TS Ed.CET (CBT) for admission into a 2-year B.Ed Course.

• The candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
• The candidate should satisfy “local”/ “non-local” Status requirements as laid down in the Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974, as subsequently amended.

Educational Qualification

• In any bachelor’s Degree i.e. B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Sc (Home Science), BCA, BBM, B. A (Oriental Languages), BBA, or Master’s Degree, securing at least 50% aggregate marks.
• Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with 50% aggregate marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
• However, candidates belonging to the reserved categories Viz., SC/ ST/ BC, and other reserved categories should have secured 40% Marks in the qualifying examination.
• The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for TS Ed.CET.
• Candidates possessing a Master’s Degree without having undertaken undergraduate study are not eligible for admission.

Age Limit

The candidate should have completed the age of 19 years as of 1st July of the year in which notification is issued. There shall be no maximum age limit.

Telangana EDCET Application Form 2024 – Fee Details

For online submission, visit the Website: https://edcet.tsche.ac.in. A candidate has to pay Rs.750/- (For SC/ ST/ PH Rs.550/-only) as Registration and Application Fee and Late fee (as applicable) by opting for any of the following two modes of payment:

• TS Online/ AP Online Centers in Telangana State or A.P.
• Payment Gateway: After filling out the online Application form with the required details, verify all the details carefully and press the Submit button. Filled in the Online Application Form will be generated which contains the registration number along with filled-in details. Take the printout of the filled-in Online Application Form. Use the Registration number for future correspondence.

How To Apply For TS Ed CET 2024?

• Visit the official website @ edcet.tsche.ac.in.
• The home page of the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test will be opened.
• Hit on the Instruction Booklet Section.
• Download and read all the information mentioned in the Booklet.
• Click on the Apply Now Button.
• Fill in all the details on the Application Form.
• Upload the necessary scanned documents.
• Recheck the details which you have mentioned and make a payment.
• Finally, submit the TS EdCET Application Form 2024.
• Download and take a copy for further usage.

TS Ed CET Exam Pattern 2024

• The common entrance test will be of objective type (multiple choice) examination. The candidate has to answer 150 questions in two hours.
• The question paper will be in English/Telugu and English / Urdu only

Telangana Ed CET Result 2024

• Candidates will be ranked in the order of merit based on marks obtained in TS Ed.CET through online examination. Where there is a tie in total marks, Subject/content marks will be taken into account to decide relative ranking.
• In case of a further tie, the marks obtained in Teaching Aptitude will be taken into account, In case of further tie General English will be taken into account to decide relative ranking, In case of further tie General Knowledge & Educational Issues will be taken into account to decide relative ranking and In case of a further tie, Computer awareness will be taken in to account to decide relative ranking.
• In case of candidates get equal marks in each of the parts of the test paper, they shall be bracketed for the award of rank. At the time of admission into the course, age shall be taken into consideration for relative ranking among the bracketed candidates and the older candidates shall be given priority.
